    Internal NoteAlt text: A butterfly-shaped structure with light-blue lines throughout and groups of magenta dots toward the edges. Researcher-Provided Description: Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly) wild-type ovaries in which actin filaments were labeled with rhodamine-conjugated phalloidin (cyan) and DNA was labeled with DAPI (magenta). The image was acquired on a Nikon A1plus scanning confocal microscope with a GaAsP detector and a 20X 0.75 N.A. lens using Galvano scanning controlled by Nikon Elements software.
